What if your cursor was a brush?

Digital Handprint

A self-portrait built in code, not pixels. An exploration of what it means to leave a mark in a digital space that remembers nothing, and a hint of self-criticism about my computer use habits.

The mouse cursor is the primary bridge between a user and a digital interface, yet it is rarely treated as more than a utilitarian tool.
This project explores the cursor as an active participant in the design rather than a passive observer.
By transforming the cursor into a generative brush, I aimed to break the fourth wall of web navigation, turning routine movement into a playful, creative act.

This experiment faces myself first - how much i swiped and moved each day - creating a daily self-portrait of my ”Digital Handprint”.
